CapturFiles-24-34-2014_10.34.46Hair loss affects millions of men and women. In a society where baldness and thinning hair is a definite turn-off, more and more people are looking for a safe and lasting solution.

The Latest Breakthrough in the Treatment of Hair Loss and Baldness for both Men and Women with no Side Effects is NOW Available at MILLENNIUM CLINIC   (Read article)

Millennium Clinic’s Hair and Scalp Treatment Programs employ a holistic, multi-therapeutic approach to solving hair loss in order to achieve the best possible result. Each program is medically safe, has no side effects and aims to stop hair thinning, thicken existing hair and regrow lost hair.

WE DO NOT ADVISE SELF- MEDICATING!

Not all hair loss conditions are the same. Our hair treatment experts will meet with you to analyse your particular hair loss problem and advise you on the best hair treatment method that is most likely to restore your natural appearance and your self-confidence.

Our non-surgical and surgical hair restoration and replacement treatment programs are some of the best and most current available in the world, but they do not provide solutions for every type of hair loss. Often, a specially tailored treatment program is necessary, as the only solution that makes sense for certain conditions. If we can help you keep your existing hair and stimulate the regrowth of new hair, don’t you owe it to yourself to explore that possibility?

TREATMENT PROGRAMS:

Our Treatment programs last from 6 to 12 months

The program consists of 15-25 minute appointments once or twice a week for 6 or 12 months in our Pitt Street Clinic.

There are several types of Non-Surgical Treatment Programs and several Surgical options, which have different advantages and suitability:

NON-SURGICAL:

  • In-Clinic “Stimu-Lase” Program (Laser Hair Therapy or Cold Laser Therapy) Clinical Grade Lasers + Hair Repair Products + Formulae
  • Topical DHT or PGD2 enzyme blockers + Vasodilators + Photobiomodulation
  • Tricho-Roller Dermal Stimulation + Formulae + “Stimu-Lase” (Clinical Grade Lasers)
  • Various Hair Loss Treatments for Women
  • Alopecia Treatments

WHAT IS LASER HAIR TREATMENT?

Laser Hair Therapy is a non-surgical, scientific approach to aiding in the treatment of hair loss and scalp problems. Clinical-grade lasers have been medically tested and proven to be safe and effective.

Laser Stimulation (“Stimu-Lase”) used regularly strengthens and regenerates the hair roots. This slows or arrests, and in some cases, reverses the degenerative cycle as previously described.

  • Repairs and improves hair shaft quality.
  • Relieves irritating scalp conditions.
  • Increased hair strength and elasticity.
  • Bonds and locks in conditioners for enhanced results.
  • Repairs damage normally caused by chemicals, colouring and perms.

Our In-Clinic Hair Treatment Program consists of a combination of laser therapy and our Hair Repair Formulae products that are used to target early hair loss. This is a great and effective alternative for those who don’t want or need Hair Replacement Surgery.

Another type of laser therapy is Cold Laser Therapy and the scientific term for this is Photobiomodulation, a very complicated word for a rather simple process. Non-thermal photons of light are emitted in certain wavelengths and intensities. The cells in your body turn that light energy into chemical energy, which stimulates growth. This therapy can work for many ailments such as soft tissue injury, severe wounds, and chronic pain. In the case of hair loss, the laser stimulates the formation of new hair cells and increases blood circulation in the capillaries of the scalp. With the hair follicles now sufficiently stimulated, new hair is grown. An added benefit is that existing hairs start to grow thicker.

Cold Laser non-surgical treatments utilise a device containing therapeutic-level lasers. This breakthrough technology has been featured all over the US UK and Europe. Physicians are praising this new technology as an effective treatment for hair loss when used together with proper Hair Repair and scalp products + DHT blockers & Vasodilators.

Interestingly enough, cold laser therapy for hair loss was stumbled upon by accident. In 1967, Endre Mester of Semmelweis University was studying the effects of lasers on skin cancer. He shaved the backs of mice and exposed them to lasers. These mice grew their fur back faster than the mice that were not exposed. Since then, much research has been done to see exactly what type of lasers have this effect, and how best to administer it to patients.

Cold Laser Technology is recognized by the FDA and is approved for cosmetic use in the United States, Canada and many other countries.

Today, laser light is widely used as a cosmetic hair growth stimulant. If started in the early stages of hair loss, laser hair treatments may provide the results you are looking for.
If you’re intending to start on a Laser program, be aware that you must be very patient. Many sessions are needed to produce sufficient results. The first evidence of new growth is noticeable only after the sixth or seventh session. It’s not until the tenth or subsequent treatments that growth in the bald areas and thicker hair can be seen. It takes six to twelve months for full results.

As for the safety of this technology, you should be the judge. Since the energy produced is non-thermal, it cannot burn your skin, and it does not emit UV rays, which can cause skin cancer.

Six months is the minimum required to see noticeable results, every individual is different and therefore may need different treatment periods to see the results.

Stimu-Lase” Laser Therapy must be continued to maintain the results and if the results are good, then maintenance is a small price to pay for a good head of healthy hair.

HAND-HELD LASER DEVICE or HIGH FREQUENCY UNIT

If you do not want the recommended 6 or 12-month In-Clinic Treatment Program, or if you live too far away to attend the clinic, a Hand-held Laser or High-Frequency Device (which we will supply) can be used at home. These devices, together with our Hair Repair products + our DHT Blocking Special Formulae ordered over the telephone or internet, is the next best thing. This Hand-held Laser and other devices we supply can be safely used at home. We also recommend using the Hand-held Laser at home after an In-Clinic Hair Treatment Program to maintain good results.

MILLENNIUM IN-CLINIC TREATMENTS VS. HAND-HELD LASER

Our In-Clinic Laser treatments are much more effective and beneficial than the Hand Held Laser devices because:

  • The regular in-clinic examination by our consultant will allow us to monitor your progress closely, make changes if necessary and encourage you to keep the treatments going, till the desired result is achieved.
  • With the In Clinic “Stimu-Lase” Laser Treatment, you sit under the much more powerful Professional Grade Laser hood. The whole scalp benefits from an intensive 15-25 minute PhotoBioModulation session.
  • All Formulae and products are included in our In-Clinic Hair Repair + Stimu-Lase Program and you can sit back and relax, whilst our professional-grade lasers do all the work.

HAIR LOSS TREATMENT FOR WOMEN

The challenges of hair replacement for women are different to those of men. At the Millennium Clinic, we can give women stylish and undetectable nonsurgical hair replacement solutions that address the special needs of women suffering from Hair Loss. Our exclusive range of Hair Repair products are of the finest quality, they are sulphate-free and are gentle to your Hair and Scalp.

Hair loss in women is a much more common problem than we may think. It’s also a far more traumatic issue than it is for men. Not only do women generally lose their hair in different ways than men, the social implications of this can be much more difficult to deal with.

ALOPECIA TREATMENT

If you are seeking effective treatment for your Alopecia condition, you have come to the right place. Alopecia occurs when your immune system attacks your hair follicles, the origin of hair. As with most autoimmune disorders, the cause of this malfunction is so far, unknown. And, although Alopecia most often afflicts those younger than 20 years of age, people of all ages can be affected.

HAIR TRANSPLANT SURGERY

Electing hair transplant surgery to treat your hair loss is a major decision and not one to be taken lightly, but the results will last a lifetime…

To be considered a good candidate for hair transplant surgery, you must have sufficient donor hair to be transplanted into the balding areas of the scalp.

Our hair transplant surgeons are the best in their field, board-certified physicians. Hair transplant surgery is a basic operation, whereby the physician takes “donor hair” from the back and/or sides of the head and moves it to an area of hair loss. The area of the scalp where the donor- hair is taken from is an area that will continue to grow throughout the life of most men.

Hair transplant surgery techniques have vastly improved over the last few years and Millennium Clinics hair transplant patients have been able to achieve excellent results with the latest hair transplant techniques.

Hair transplant surgery does not solve all hair loss problems. You will need to book an examination & consultation in our Pitt Street clinic to see if surgical intervention is the best approach to your individual hair loss case.
